The Foo Fighters have pushed through the North American summer tour despite Dave Grohl's recently broken leg. He now sits atop a rock god throne and contines to give it all he's got from one city to the next. Dave Grohl's orthopaedic surgeon has been credited with making it possible for the Foo Fighters to continue along on their highly anticipated summer tour. Dave Grohl took the time part way through their show in Boston last night to give thanks to Dr. Lew C. Schon, and welcome him to the stage to blow everyone away. Who knew an orthopedic surgeon could rock a stadium so hard! The Foo Fighters and Dr. Schon threw down an impressive rendition of 'Seven Nation Army' - (White Stripes) on lead vocals. He killed it! Grohl himself was typically flip in his letter to fans, referencing a similar stage (non-injury) fall by fellow guitarist Edge of U2 on that bands current tour. Grohls mad dash to stage right sent him feet first over the Edge (pun intended) for a 12-foot drop that caused the injury. The Foos are a stadium-level band in Europe, commanding $1 million per show or more as a festival headliner and often bringing in more than that when headlining stadiums.
