Birds on the wire song strikes a chord with listeners

Music is literally everywhere. You just have to know where to look for inspiration. Wether it be raindrops on your car window on a long drive home from work, or the noisy construction work driving you crazy on your street- You can find music in it. Sometimes all it takes is taking the time to step back and take in your surroundings. Frustrated by TTC being slow and lousy? Take a second to listen to all the melodies and rhythms coming from a squeaky subway coming to a stop in your station. Make something from nothing. Thats what Jarbas Agnelli did! Have a listen to how he transformed a simple photo of birds sitting along telephone wires into a song.   Jarbas Agnelli from Brazil, 46, spotted a picture of the birds in a newspaper and noticed they were arranged like notes on a musical score. He used the birds and wires as notes and the musical stave in his piece Mr Agnelli made the song using the Apple Logic Studio and created the video using Adobe After Effects 'I cut out the photo and decided to make a song, using the exact location of the birds as notes,' he said. 'I knew it wasn't the most original idea in the universe. I was just curious to hear what melody the birds were creating.' Listen to the composition here... It was the birds' idea,' he said. 'The notes are the exact position of the birds (in between the lines). The rhythm is a interpretation of their position, since there are no bar lines.'
